This privacy policy applies to the ActivMedic mobile application (the “medic app”), which is used by medics and drivers to receive and manage emergency and transport requests. The app is operated by [Your Company Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using ActivMedic, you agree to this policy.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following data, which is linked to your account and identity:

• Contact information: Email, first and last name, display name, and phone number (for account creation, sign-in, profile, and support).
• Precise location: GPS coordinates when you are on duty or responding to requests, so we can show your position on the map, support dispatch, and enable navigation to pickup and dropoff locations.
• Identifiers: User ID, vehicle and request IDs, and session tokens, to operate your account and assignments.
• Voice: If you use in-app voice calls with patients or drivers, audio is transmitted in real time to complete the trip; we do not store recordings.

When you view a request, you may see information about the patient’s request (e.g. pickup/dropoff, triage summary). That data belongs to the patient and is provided to you only to perform the job; you must keep it confidential.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above to:

• Create and manage your account, and display your profile (including name) in the app.
• Show you available emergency and transport requests, dispatch you to jobs, and display your location for coordination and navigation.
• Provide in-app voice communication with patients or drivers when you use that feature.
• Comply with law, prevent fraud, and protect security.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing.

4. Third parties

We may use services that process data on our behalf:

• Email: We may use an email service to send verification and transactional emails; that provider may process your email address and name as necessary to deliver messages.
• Maps and navigation: If you use maps or address resolution in the app, relevant coordinates or queries may be sent to the map/places provider (e.g. Google) in accordance with their terms and privacy policy.

Request and patient-related information you see in the app is shared with you in your role as a medic or driver; you must not use it for purposes unrelated to the job or share it outside what is required.

5. Data linked to your identity

All data we collect through ActivMedic is linked to your identity via your account. We do not de-identify or anonymize it before collection. This is required to manage your account, assignments, and location for dispatch.

6. Security and retention

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes.

7. Your rights
