Privacy requirements for providers and medics using ActivMedic
Scope of covered data
This policy covers provider account data, credential records, assignment and dispatch logs, communications metadata, billing records, and patient related information made available to users for legitimate service delivery.
Permitted use
Provider users may access and use patient or request data only for assigned care and transport operations. Unauthorized disclosure, secondary use, scraping, export, or retention outside approved systems is prohibited.
Security obligations
Organizations and medics must enforce role based access, strong authentication, secure devices, confidentiality controls, and timely revocation of departed staff. Suspected compromise must be reported without delay.
Sharing and processors
Data may be shared with payment services, identity verification vendors, communications providers, hosting vendors, insurers, and regulators where required for operations, compliance, or legal duty.
